Republicans support this bill, which aims to prevent the Federal Reserve (Fed) and its affiliated banks from creating a digital form of the US dollar and using it to execute monetary policy.
If not open, permissionless, and private – like cash – a CBDC is nothing more than a CCP-style surveillance tool that can be weaponized to oppress the American way of life.
