Shibarium transaction is reported to have hit a total of 250 million after its daily transaction recorded a surge.
This comes after an exchange announced support for the Shiba Inu layer 2 network.
According to the latest report, transaction counts on Shibarium make a quick U-turn to surge following days of decline. Daily transactions on Shibarium had a steady growth in late December, hitting 7.5 million. In the first week of 2024, there was a significant surge as total transactions hit 250 million according to data. Interestingly, the past week saw the growth of total transactions occurring at a slower pace as the daily transactions had a massive drop from 7.8 million to 1.16 million on January 13.
In the past 24 hours, the network activities seem to be increasing as the daily transactions make a marginal surge to 1.97 million.
