Paris Saint-Germain Partners with Crypto.com to Drop AI-Generated NFT Matchday Posters
French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) FC is set to launch matchday posters that fans can collect as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The posters were created using generative artificial intelligence tools as part of a collaboration between PSG and its sponsor, cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com.
According to a report by Decrypt, the poster series was designed by Benjamin Benichou, an artist who makes use of generative AI in his work. Benichou created 1,970 designs and only 7 were chosen for release via the NFT drop. PSG will display the posters across seven matches this season starting with this weekend’s match against Olympique de Marseille in France’s Ligue 1 football league.
