Oasis has launched the first confidential Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchain, Sapphire, allowing developers to add privacy features to decentralized applications (DApps). Developers can now add a privacy layer to dApps built on the Ethereum ecosystem and smart contract blockchain networks.
Sapphire and the Oasis Privacy Layer (OPL) are now live, and developers can use the blockchain’s privacy-first features existing DApps on EVM networks without conducting cross-chain swaps for respective tokens.
Sapphire has been developed to propel cross-chain Web3 development focused on smart contract privacy features.
