The FBI has warned that North Korean hackers may try to sell off over $40 million worth of stolen bitcoin. The Lazarus Group and APT38, both based in North Korea, have been linked to a string of cryptocurrency thefts, including the $60 million heist from Alphapo and the $100 million exploit of Atomic Wallet. The FBI said it continues to investigate these incidents and urged cryptocurrency exchanges and financial institutions to remain vigilant. It advised them to strengthen their security measures against cyberattacks and regularly update their systems to prevent such thefts.
