Cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase Singapore has announced new compliance measures to adhere to the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) regulations on anti-money laundering. Coinbase Singapore users must provide additional information about their counterparty when initiating cryptocurrency deposits or withdrawals. Additionally, when receiving cryptocurrency deposits from outside of the platform, Coinbase Singapore will require users to provide information about the sender or risk having the transaction refused.
