CertiK has cut jobs in response to “evolving market dynamics,” according to founder and CEO Ronghui Gu. Less than 15% of the workforce was affected, with the aim of aligning the team structure with the company’s long-term strategic aspirations. This move follows recent staffing reductions in the blockchain industry and a stall in the prices of bitcoin and ether. CertiK closed a $60 million funding round backed by the SoftBank Vision Fund and Tiger Global last year. The company offers end-to-end security solutions, including code auditing, threat monitoring, and asset tracing.
